His interactions with Weir are really dead on perfect for a career military guy dealing with a strong female, a female leader and a person he can respect. And I do think he has a huge resevoir of respect for Dr. Weir. I just think that Weir wouldn't be what he was looking for in a companion.

Doesn't mean he wouldn't do her in a heartbeat, though!!
