I was SO not going to watch Blade the Series - only guess what?

KAVAN SMITH is in the pilot!

Here's the info:

The pilot is re-airing on SPIKE TV here in the US on July 9th, at 9pm and is also available for download from iTunes ( I think the download is free on iTunes, but I haven't verified that).

I don't know if he actually is, despite the iMDB listing, or maybe he is but it's blink and you miss it. All I know is that I *did* watch the original airing of Blade just because of Kavan, and I didn't see him. Or didn't recognize him.

Oh, man! What a bummer! I was really looking forward to seeing him, but in a way perhaps it is a good thing? I didn't want him to lose any more time away from SGA - since he already has a couple of series he is recurrent on other than Stargate.

Sure. If you end up watching and you do see him, I'd love to know (so I can catch it next time). Otherwise, I don't think I'll be watching that series on a regular basis.

Well - he definitely wasn't in the third episode and I can honestly say I hope he isn't in any others. The series isn't very good and after the movies it's actually a little distasteful for me. I didn't like it at all.
