Most soldiers who have actually seen combat have that in them. Same as alot of cops, that's why the cops go bad. You're exposed to the element in your surroundings and it changes you. You don't have to give in to it, and that's where I think Lorne is the better person, but still it is there and you tap into it when you choose to. It is all about the training and what these guys have seen and been through.

An adrenaline rush, which is what I think the enzyme basically is, is a great thing at first but after a while it starts to drive you insane and if you lose it, you feel like you're dying only you're really just going back to normal. Same as with any addiction.
