Notes: I wrote this for a writing group. The others don't watch Stargate, so I wrote something that they could get without any background knowledge. I was very surprised that when I told them later it was fanfic they said it read like regular fic and they would never have guessed, lol. I added a whole lot after getting some great critiques, mainly because I thought it ended too abruptly originally (not that it doesn't now, sorry but that's the way it goes).
