Actually Ronon/Lorne is the pairing I have a real hankering for... all of Ronon lonely angst trying to fit in, or too stoic to fit in after he lost EVERYTHING, oh & Lorne's there to help him through... I know too gushy, but just think of the porne, YUM!!


Sheppard/Lorne... now that's both vagablonde & mos_self's fault they wrote it--me I just had a *drool* feast. Now I just beg for MORE

I'm thinking the classic lorne and sheppard is the way to go even though I haven't read all that much out there with it. Any really good fic suggestions for me? i'm just really starting to get into it.

When I consider how much I've read of non-Lorne pairing fics (McShep, Ronon/Shep, Ronon/McKay) I'd say Lorne/? (for me) is still relatively new.

mos_self Plan B was probably the first Lorne focused fic I read... & the start of my Lorne/Shep, Lorne/McKay, Lorne/Shep/McKay luv ;-P

One could say my reading preference is very ah, slutty since I LUV so many pairings in SGA.
Though I adore reading the above pairings, at the moment my muse has only nudged me in the direction of Beckett/Lorne, McKay/Lorne & Ronon/Lorne...but who knows.

I love Beckett and Lorne too. I've only read a couple, but I love it.

I'm not so sure about the Lorne and Parrish pairing yet though. I
've read a lot of Lorne and WEir ( I know not slash) and I do like that.

I think my favorite Lorne pairing is still lorne and Sheppard though.

Thanks for the recs! I will get right on reading those! I've been over to wraithbait before, but never got around it much so I think I will have to start now.

I'm not exactly loyal to any specific pairing either, I can see so many different ones working. I like some more than others, but I can see a lot of different ones working out so I will read just about anything when it gets down to it haha.

Check out the recs I just posted under this thread. They're threesomes with Sheppard/McKay/Lorne... Plan B is light fluffy sweet with an adorable Shep/Lorne...then OMG Chain of Command very hot porne, if nothing else you have to read the last chpt posted its all Lorne/Shep, but the entire thing, seriously its worth the read.

Honestly, I couldn't see ANY slash pairings in the SGA 'verse. I kept an open mind though, since I like slash, just not with certain characters. I read a few mcShep and then met vagablonde over at 100_situations when I foolishly signed up to write SGA fic for it.

Major Lorne was just my cup of tea from the beginning. I love military hair cuts, and buff men (do NOT ask me why I was..and still am...distracted with elves for so long as they are neither!)

So...I've only read Lorne/Sheppard so far. Liked most of them...(Just read the one of casspeach's rec'd and fainted. I mean...this one line did me in right away...' "Eyes front," Sheppard whispered, low and filthy in his ear. '

Okay, back to the topic...

Lorne with:

Ford - nope, can't see it. At all. But then, I can't see Ford with anyone, especially since he's now a wraith enzyme addict.

McKay - yeah. I can't decide if McKay is the dom or if Lorne is.

Sheppard - yes, rough and dirty and both of them fighting for dominance, usually splitting it 50/50. But nothing too pretty or gentle.

Dex - oh yeah. totally.

Beckett - I think the good Dr. is all het. He loves his mother way too much to not be. (IMO)

Zelenka, Caldwell, Parrish - I'd be open to reading it, really have no opinion about them right now, I guess.

Here's some food for thought...I know a lot of people don't like him, but I love Cam Mitchell - I could see him and Lorne.

Oh, can also see Lorne with Teyla ...or Sora ...but not Weir (just an fyi)...

If I'm not mistaken its part of the Chain of Command series... & you're right it is *faint dead* just YUM!

Ford, yea I haven't read any Ford slash, he was just too young squeaky clean for me even after the wraith enzyme, but if I would ever slash him it'd be from that point.

See I like McShep too, & read IMO good fics that go either way Rodney top or bottom...obviously the same for Sheppard. Ronon I see & prefer him to bottom ;-)

Lorne so far for me he's more a bottom guy...course that could be that's because of what I just wrote ;-p

Now Cam... another Cam person ;-) I adore Cam...& yea I can see it…oooh wouldn't be cool if at different times Sheppard & Lorne were both involved with Cam... & then they accidentally find out in Atlantis exactly how they were 'involved' knew Cam

(Okay, back onto Lorne) ... I can see Lorne as bottom or top...in fact, the first Shep/Lorne I read was actually Lorne/Shep ...that vagablonde wrote. I was the one who asked her if Shep would every be dominant...*grin* ...And now, I could see more Lorne Dom ...

And yes, that is one of the CHain of Command series...I had to go to wraithbait and print the rest....am saving reading it as a reward for doing nasty chores...

(For me Shep/Ronon was born from this moment in 'Condemned' & yeah just because he's big, I’d still think write him more as a bottom… he likes orders ;-) He just needs to make Sheppard work really hard for it!

I personally cannot stand the character of Kavanaugh, I worked with too many people just like him in the military. the character is well played by the actor but I don't like him.

I agree, the actor did a great job! First time I saw him, I thought a Blair character (probably the pony tail)... oh so very different ;-)
