I will be offering the challenges for the month of January, and because it's already New Year's Day in some parts of the world, I want to post the first challenge for those of you who want to start off 2007 by writing some Lorne-fic.
The first challenge for January 2007:
Lorne and New Year's Eve (or New Year's Day).
Is he alone or lonely? Is he having a wild time? Maybe he's spending a quiet evening or day at home with someone. You get to tell us, so let your imagine run free.
Requirements: at least 100 words. Any slash pairing. See the community info for the usual applicable warnings and for when to use an LJ-cut [for spoilers, for example!]
I will post a new challenge each Tuesday and Friday. Today's challenge was posted two days in advance because I wanted to start us off a little early for the new year.
There is no deadline for the January challenges. You may post your responses to the challenges at any time. So if your inspiration for, say, the challenge of 9 January hits you on 31 January, we still want to read your fic. Remember-- it's all about having fun and sharing the Major Lorne love.
So good luck, and may the muses be with you. And a Happy 2007 to everyone!
The next challenge will be posted on Friday, 5 January.
