LJ DDOS attacks, Fic exchange and Dreamwidth

While I'm able to post, lets address a couple of things. I think most people already know LJ has been under DDOS attack, the attacks leaving LJ scrabbling to get us back on line. At the moment on my end things are stable, but because of recent events, not knowing if another attack will hit - it’s anyone’s guess. I do support LJ during this difficult time however I'm also selfish and need my daily fanninsh fix, it saves my sanity.

So regarding the Fic Exchange we are going full steam ahead, posting will commence tomorrow on Friday. I will post to both Slashing_lorne journals LJ and DW.

If you already have a dreamwidth account and have not friended slashing_lorne there please do. If you don’t have an account, but would like one I do have 20 invites up for grabs. Even if you don't want an account please bookmark DW's slashing _lorne here: http://slashing-lorne.dreamwidth.org/profile that way if I'm unable to post on LJ you will still be able to see the post, and enjoy it on DW.

Side note: for DW users, Three Weeks for Dreamwidth will be starting up April 25 - May 15th. It’s a celebration of DW's Beta anniversary, with a goal to create & post on DW only during those 3 weeks. So if you'd like to join in please do. No worries if you don’t, anything we create there I'm sure will be crossposted here after the weeks, and if not I'll be posting a masterlist of links here so you won’t miss out on any Lorne love =)

Fic exchange pitch hitters...

A heads up.... Due to a couple of people that I haven't heard from in the last couple of emails, I might need some pitch hitters....

This might be a false alarm as I know a couple of people didn't get my prior emails, though I did hear from them why I know there was a glitch... That said from the ones I haven't heard from I'm sending this, another email via gmail instead, and a private note from LJ - with a deadline to hear from them by Sat. RL emergencies happen I just need to know, and throw out a warning & help to pitch hitters for the worse case scenario.
