Ah, see that, I can see. Especially with drugs involved, and what he's seen/done in the line. And yeah, most of us have a dark side to which we go if pushed.
But I also think he has the kind of moral courage that won't let him unless he is forced to. That was what I was worried you weren't saying. Just because he could resort to some, shall we say drastic measures, I don't think he'd do so lightly. He couldn't do what he does, and gotten to the point where he's gotten without moral fiber of some kind, or he'd have snapped and started killing civilians long ago.
