Because there hasn't been that much activity going on lately what with the hiatus and all, I was wondering if maybe you guys wouldn't mind doing a bit of rec'cing. How about rec'cing your favourite Lorne fic - whether it's one you've penned yourself or one by your favourite Lorne-writer, and (if it's okay with denyce) just this once it can be any genre - gen/het/slash. Whatever your favourite bit of Lorne!prose is, lemme have it!! Throw us a link, tell us why it's your fave if you wish - just post some recs for the rest of us to indulge in!

I'm a collector...I have many Lorne fics, of all shape and genre and pairing.

I haven't kept up saving them lately (dang RL!) but I do have a lot of it marked there... (so go to my memories, listed under SGA-Lorne (SGA-LorneGen, etc) and there are tons linked)

I second the miss_porcupine stuff. This (http://miss-porcupine.livejournal.com/103693.html) is a link to her first fic involving her OC, Doctor Yoni Safir. In 2005, Major Lorne steals a Cat-Thing. It turns out that stealing mascots is never as good an idea as one would think. Sheppard/McKay, Sheppard/OMC (both mild).
Rather amusing.

Summary: Fatigue blurs his vision and makes his joints ache, and and the ridge he's curled up on may have a good view of the men guarding the Stargate but it's also made up completely of rock, and there's no position he can find that doesn't have sharp-edged flint poking up like probing fingers into his already-bruised ribs. No slash.

Another amusing one.

A Major's guide to dining in the Pegasus Galaxy (http://community.livejournal.com/stargateanon/2106.html) by slodwick. Summary: Lorne has a bit of trouble with Universes after a mission.
The author uses the name Michael for Lorne, but apart from that, it's amusing and serious in good measures.
