Why you like Lorne? For me it's the character of the character. He has a military background and seems more straighlaced than Sheppard, more military. He's also got a wicked sense of humour.
Your favorite Lorne pairing? Right now I'm writing alot of Lorne/Sheppard but I also write het Lorne. I could see Lorne with all kinds of folks though. The one person I don't see him with yet is Parrish.
Why? I like Lorne with Sheppard because I think they fit. They have a common background and they share a similar look at life.

Wasn't he fabulous in it???? I really loved everything he did in that particular scene! He was fantastic and hot and very protective of Weir...

Guh yea! I watched it so many times it was pathetic! It was amazing though! He was so cute it a rugged, manly, soldierly sort of way hahaha. I like the relationship between him and Weir, I think it could be interesting. Anyways, Yea I loved it to!

Me too!! I watched it over and over! I really just love the actor's take on the character in that scene. It is spot-on and dead perfect!

I also think the dynamic between him and Weir is interesting and I could truly see a relationship there, I'm just not sure that it is a sexual one. But still, it's an amazing dynamic.

Yea I could see a sexual relationship, but I don't know. I enjoy their relationship professionally. I like the scene in Lost Boys too right after he returns through the gate and Sheppards team is overdue. "They forget how much you worry...how much we worry...collectively I mean..." hahahah I love that line!

His interactions with Weir are really dead on perfect for a career military guy dealing with a strong female, a female leader and a person he can respect. And I do think he has a huge resevoir of respect for Dr. Weir. I just think that Weir wouldn't be what he was looking for in a companion.

Doesn't mean he wouldn't do her in a heartbeat, though!!

Were you in the military? I think I read in a comment somewhere you were. I have three cousins that are in the air force, but that's as much experience as I have with it. I very nearly joined myself, but didn't.

I did twenty in the Navy and that's all the experience I have with it, g!, and believe me it was plenty! I loved it, honestly. And I have a spot for military guys, both the ones like Sheppard and the ones like Caldwell and Lorne. I certainly met all three types while I was in.

And I firmly think that Lorne is the slut of Atlantis - Kavan Smith even said in an interview that he didn't think Lorne would have a problem kissing anyone in Atlantis.

No I want to get it from Netflix, but It's been backordered or something. I've heard it's a great episode though! I might break down and just go to Blockbusters and get it if they have it.

i saw it recently on someone's lj with the text "My ass it is..." and just howled!
