Why I Ship Lorne/Sheppard - A Mini-Meta

I actually intended to post this on the 1st, but best-laid plans and all.

I will admit to being a multi-shipper of epic proportions when it comes to SGA. There are times when it feels like I ship almost everyone with almost everyone else.

However, Sheppard was the first person I shipped Lorne with. And here I present two moments that really stand out to me, complete with pretty pictures.





Even though, it's kind of morbid, this is the scene that got me shipping Lorne/Sheppard. The first SGA fic I wrote was for a stargateland Challenge and centered around this scene. In the actually scene, John stays fairly composed - because this is John and well, him and emotions. John was also more concerned with figuring out who killed Lorne than dealing with Ladon Radim's games. And the banter after John realizes that Evan is indeed alive - it just seems like they're very comfortable with each other.



For me this is all about the "that's all the C4 you have" bit. I don't know why this stands out so much, but it just seemed like John knew he had the C4 before he asked.

OH, and also, maybe it's just Kavan and Joe, but they seem to roll their eyes at each other a lot, or do the smirking thing in the background when the other is talking.

Lorne seems the type to always have what people need ... like C4. LOL.
