Slowness, but still trudging on ;-)
So I'm slowly working on 2 Lorne fics (1 untitled from a prompt, & the other is tentatively titled: License to love & punishment)

So before it hits the first of the month, or the fourth quarter of the year… meaning holidays are right around the corner & I start back working 6 days a week, arg!!! Anyhoo, thought I’d get your thoughts on a few things.

Again since my world is going to continue to get busier thought I’d delegate…or just scream for help ;-)

First off anyone interested in managing/creating the archive for us? Maybe a couple of people so it doesn’t strictly rely on just one person updating if RL gets busy? Primarily I’m looking for someone who’ll be happy to create/make tags i.e. pairings Lorne/McKay, Lorne/Parrish, Lorne/Sheppard threesomes, etc… genre slash—duh but also (gen, het a single post that we can edit & add outside links to---though here we prefer slashing Lorne, Lorne any Lorne is always of the good) With a basic goal of anyone checking our memories would be able to find their pairing… this would also include tags for icons, & vids.

Now for challenges….

I’d like to start 2 challenges to stay opened with no time limit. Basically my thought is 2-fold—1st an episodic fic challenge matching a Lorne centered fic with an episode… starting back in SG1 on up to now. This means, writing in & around the episode that Lorne appears in so a missing scene or episodic tag centered on Lorne of that particular episode.

But you ask what about the episodes’ that don’t have Lorne (& sadly there are a lot)… that’s the other challenge where in the world is Lorne? So keeping with the regular episodes that would briefly be tagged something like this:
Lorne’s life prior to SGC
SGC prior to S7 e?
Period of after SG1 S7-prior to SGA
During SGA’s S1
Lorne’s arrival in Atlantis
SGA S2 episode by episode
SGA S3 episode by episdoe

—each episode missing scenes where he wasn’t showcased where was he? What was he doing, who was he with? The only requirement is it has to follow along with canon---meaning if you want to write something about Lorne during SGA S1 and pair him with Sheppard, that would only work if they meet briefly at SGC before Sheppard left through the gate—in other words for this challenge we’d still like to follow canon at least the set up for what ever given episode you’re inspired to write… it can go AU after that point.

The Episodic challenges will stay open, I’d like to fill in at least one fic per episode/per pairing--- since many of us have our own favorite Lorne pairing ;-) Also posting an outside link to a non-slash fic, but fits the requirement is ok—just remember post the link/synopsis not the fic, only slash fics are acceptable to post.

Next up, monthly challenges? Do you want them? Now that the holidays are around the corner I’m just thinking holiday challenges…i.e. I was thinking keeping it simple because sadly my world is going to get too tight to run any kind of holiday fic-a-thon, so I figured if we had a heads up people might want to start early so they have something to post at the time. This is all tentative---let me know what you think? September—training/school related. Due: last weekend of Sept. Sept 28-30
October—something goes bump in the night. Due: last weekend of Oct 26-31
November—thanksgiving, to give thanks. Due: starting Nov. 23-30
December—Xmas & or New Years. Due: starting Dec 22-31
