Strait to the Point

“It Ain't Cool to Be Crazy About You,” the iPod crooned until Rodney flipped it ahead.

“Why don't you take that one off if you hate it so much?” Lorne asked.

“Sentimental. Sometimes I listen to it for a reality check.” At Lorne's inquiring look, Rodney signed and continued. “An ex used to play it during sex.”

“Cold,” Lorne winced, then began scrolling through the playlist. “Got a lot of country on here.”

“Couple years in Nevada,” Rodney said with a shrug.

“It just comes natural,” began to play and Lorne put Rodney's laptop away, draping himself over the other man.

“Can I ask what this is about?” Rodney asked between kisses, his hands sliding under Lorne's shirt.

Lorne looked up from his own efforts to remove Rodney's shirt. “Do I have to explain this to you?” he asked with an amused smirk.

As it turned out, he really didn't.
